It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Waaaaaah!!! It has been so long since I have written in this blog! Time has flown by so much and before I knew it I had not written in about two weeks.... Sad day...

What have I been doing to keep myself so busy these past few weeks? Planning for a trip and being on a trip.

I took this photo early in the morning or late at night, one of the two, on my trip to Texas to see my brother and have an early Christmas with my family.

I was baking all week to be able to bring things with me on the trip and made biscotti, macaroons, and a few other baked goods.

So I made these and I also made some things for my food blog, that I am slowly catching up to posting.

The one I put up yesterday was Fish and Bunny shaped dumplings.

(Not the best lighting, I know.)

Funny stories from the road trip have to be that in Texas they have signs that say, "Obey traffic signs - it's state law".....

Firstly, I think that obeying the law is not just a law in Texas.

Secondly, if I didn't obey signs then why would I obey the one that said to obey them...?

There are also signs pointing up that say, "Power Lines", in case you do not know what they are.
Yes, I know the real reasons for these signs, but they are still hilarious at first glance!

I was so blessed during Christmas in Texas to meet my future in-laws, for my Brother and his Fiance, and my family was all together for the first time in a long time! I got the new Zelda game (skyward sword) and a poster that is not even sold in stores from my brother and I got the square frying pan I have always wanted from my sister! As well as cute kitchen utensils and a frog mug!!

When you pour into the cup bubbles come up like it's breathing! It is so exciting!

While I was in Texas I was able to visit my old campus and see my old roommate, as well as other old friends, graduate from the internship!

I am so glad to see the campus green after the terrible drought that we had when I graduated, everything was dead and dry...

I took some time to just stop under the "Prayer Tree" and pray and even wrote a song while I was there... I truly miss this place.

I hope that I can eventually record something, but we will see what happens in the future.

I was really recharged when I was there and a lot happened to me internally. I also wrote about that in my other blog. Since I did I will not expand, but if you want to read more click Here.

So much happened these past couple weeks that I will be doing a lot of writing about it, but I do not want a long post so I will be doing them slowly this week.

Overall, things have been going well and I hope you also had a wonderful week~!

Challenge of the Day:

Sit in your room or outside where it's quiet and just...soak it in and relax for a bit. Being in the quiet is good sometimes! Take a notepad so if something comes to mind ("Oh my goodness, I need to do that!"), write it down for later.

See you next time you jump down the Rabbit hole,
