It's Summertime @ Kimchi Kristy!

It's finally starting to warm up where I live, and I'm starting to get pretty excited about Summer!

I think that summer is a time to dress it up more. You have vacations, trips to the beach, hiking, and you're out with your friends and family! Being outside so much is a great opportunity to wear more accessories and also brighter makeup! You have parties as well, which means that I hope to post more fun recipes! It's also a season when you need to take extra care with your skin. Sweating and sunburns can take a toll on your skin, especially if you are outside more often, so there are specialty cosmetics out that I really hope to review!

One of my favorite things to do in the summer is mess with my hair. I think that adding bows, baubles, headbands, clips, and more adds a whole new dimension to outfits! I made clips with Fimo and fabric in the past. The benefit of this is that you can make any shape or color that you want, instead of hoping to find the right thing at the store. I also like to pick up packs of bows, to add a bit of color to my hair. You can also order clips online, like the cherry one that I bought from Shana Logic (No longer carried, sadly), or others you can get from Mod Cloth, both stores are on my list of favorite places to shop online! You can buy clips anywhere these days, at the dollar store or online, you really can find them at any clothing store at the Mall etc!

Something that I really like, that is coming back in style again, is....!

It used to be that people never left the house without a hat. They slowly went out of style, but are starting to come back again. A lot of people feel awkward wearing hats, because they aren't used to them, but I think that they can really make you stand out! "Floppy Hats" are sold everywhere in the Summer time, and I picked one up recently! Sometimes people think that they look bad in hats, but it's usually because you didn't find one that was right for you! Hats come in different colors and styles, so you can find one that matches you perfectly if you are willing to search.

I like "straw" hats the most (if you can't tell), but I have them in different styles. From floppy hats, bowler hats, and Fedoras, you can find one that's right for you. The reason there are several kinds of hats is because different hats look better on different people, so I encourage you to go out and find one that is right for you!

I hope that I can make your summer brighter this year, and I look forward to writing for these next couple months! So stay tuned, and stay hydrated!

See you next time you jump down the Rabbit hole,
